Thousand Oaks Art Association Invites Artists to Apply for Membership
The Thousand Oaks Art Association (TOAA) invites prospective members to submit their completed application, three (3) high-quality digital images of work completed in the last two years, and high-quality digital images of five (5) additional examples of their work (labeled with title, medium, size, and date completed) to
Joan Sharron at jgsharron@gmail.com by February15, 2025.
Jurying-in will be conducted in person at the Newbury Park Library on Saturday, February 22nd at 10:45 AM.
On Saturday, October 5th, Artists must bring a hard copy of their application, a $15 application fee, a portfolio as described in the application, and the three (3) original framed pieces of artwork completed in the last two years.

Becoming a Member

INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS:
A prospective member applies to join the Association by submitting
an application to present his/her work on designated viewing dates.
(dates to be announced).​
If accepted, the $15 application fee is applied
to the annual membership dues of $50
($145 if no activities)
Artist membership is both an honor

New Member Jurying Process

The criteria governing the decision of
the selection committee are:
• Consistency of the body of work
• Originality of concept
• Professional presentation
(portfolio, framing, matting)
• Integration of the elements of art
with the principles of design
• Technique and mastery of your medium

Exhibiting Only Member
​
Active membership is required.
Each member is expected to participate in supporting the activities
and services the group undertakes.
If you are unable or unwilling to fulfill this requirement, you may elect to become an Exhibiting Only Member.
