Gardens of World seeks art for display

Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks is seeking artists who would like to see their work displayed in its Resource Center.




The gardens display art by local artists throughout the year and offers interested people the chance to apply on a first-come, first-served basis.

Art is displayed in the Gardens Resource Center, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with each exhibit lasting at least one week.

Artists interested in displaying their works should contact Gardens of the World at 557-1135 or obtain an application online at http://www.gardensoftheworld.info.

Gardens of the World is a 4.5-acre cultural garden at 2001 Thousand Oaks Blvd,, with landscaped gardens that depict various cultures of the world, including Italian, French, Japanese and English. The facility is open to the public.
